EXPLORE LIFE AND DESIGN WITH
A MOTORCYCLE-RIDING ARCHITECT
Life-a-tecture: Build an Experience-Driven Life was inspired by a man who said, “I wish I had your life,” after one of the author’s photographic storytelling talks. This man could have the same adventurous life, but his mind and maybe his fears were holding him back. Join Ernest J. Lombard, FAIA (Ernie) and his wife, Rhonda, on the journeys of a lifetime. Explore what is holding you back and what is urging you on to your greatest moments in life. Mr. Lombard has been called a modern Marco Polo and Indiana Jones. Life-a-tecture questions and explores possibilities in a new way and asks you to look at life as the greatest gift and adventure ever given.
Life-A-Tecture earned the 2017 North American Book Award Gold medal in the travel category. Past winners of the North American Book Award have included 2015 Pulitzer Prize winner Anthony Doerr for his book All the Light We Cannot See.
While writing Life-A-Tecture, Mr. Lombard realized that his trip photos would add to the story and your reading enjoyment.
As a result, three versions of the adventures are available:
A paperback edition with over 175 photographs throughout 400 pages.
A digital version of the color, paperback book.
in Black & White
